Ghostbusters – 1984

Three out-of-work parapsychologists start a ghost-catching business in New York City after being kicked out of their university. Using homemade proton packs and a converted ambulance, they battle increasingly powerful supernatural entities. The mayor reluctantly hires them when a giant Sumerian god threatens to destroy the city.

Ghostbusters II – 1989

Five years after the first incident, the Ghostbusters are disgraced and struggling. A powerful evil spirit begins feeding on the city's negativity through a painting and a river of mood slime. The team reunites, discovers the spirit is Vigo the Carpathian, and saves New York on New Year's Eve with help from a baby and slime.

Ghostbusters: Answer the Call – 2016

Physicist Erin Gilbert and engineer Abby Yates reunite after their ghost research book resurfaces. With eccentric nuclear engineer Jillian Holtzmann and subway worker Patty Tolan, they form a ghost-hunting team in New York. Facing skepticism and a massive paranormal threat unleashed by a vengeful inventor, the women prove their worth by saving the city.

Ghostbusters: Afterlife – 2021

After her mother dies, single mom Callie and her kids move to her late father's decaying farm in Oklahoma. The children discover the original Ghostbusters' equipment and learn their grandfather was Egon Spengler. They must stop a new apocalyptic threat tied to Gozer and the original team before the world ends.

Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire – 2024

The Ghostbusters family operates from the old New York firehouse. A mysterious artifact containing an ancient death goddess is brought in, threatening to freeze the world in eternal winter. The team, including new recruit Melody, must unite past and present Ghostbusters to stop the second coming of death itself.

Joined by the gluttonous ghost Slimer, they battle supernatural threats weekly, from mischievous spirits to ancient gods, using science, proton packs, and teamwork.

Extreme Ghostbusters – 1997

Years later, an aging Egon Spengler teaches parapsychology at a New York college. When ghostly activity surges again, he recruits four diverse students—Kylie Griffin, Eduardo Rivera, Roland Jackson, and Garrett Miller—to form a new team. With upgraded equipment and Slimer's help, they tackle modern supernatural horrors threatening the city.
